Bad Draw

Agent Polecat is sent on a mission to Yukuki-e island to rescue the princess of Kvailand from the nefarious NME. Play your cards right, take down the enemies, develop your strategies in this fight against evil.

The controls are:

• "Left": A, left on the D-pad, left on the joystick.
• "Right": D, right on the D-pad, right on the joystick.
  
• "Up": W, up on the D-pad, up on the joystick.
  
• "Down": S, down on the D-pad, down on the joystick.
  
• "A": Num pad 5, period, south on the controller diamond.
  
• "B": Num pad 1, comma, west on the controller diamond.
  
• "Start": Space, start, north on the controller diamond.
  
• "Select": shift, select, east on the controller diamond.
  

There are some obscurities as NES games would have, including:

• Press select to change your target.
• Enemies that appear bigger are closer. You can use the Approach card to get closer to them. Be careful not to trip.
• Enemies with a "!" above their head have detected you and will attack once you end your turn. Use the Hide card to avoid damage. Just don't stay behind while you do it.
• If you have no ammo, using a card that uses ammo discards it.
• If you are neither close nor hidden, using a card that requires it discards it.
• Magazines and medkits are consumed on use.
• Enemies with sashes have more health than without, but less than the next enemy type.
• You can pause during combat to look up your deck list.
